Rosemary Wegner

Rosemary F. Wegner nee Jannetto, 95, passed away March 5, 2021. Devoted wife of the late William F. Wegner. Beloved mother Kurt (Stephanie), the late William P., the late Frank. Loving grandmother of William, Paula (George) Kachiroubas. Philip (Katie) Quinn, Francis (fiancé Trenton), and Kurt. Great grandmother of Franny. Dear sister of the late Santina (the late Greg) Latella, the late Charles ‘Bud’ (the late Dorothy) Jannetto, and the late Frank (the late Mary) Jannetto. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was involved in local charity work for over 50 years with the United Way of Norridge and Harwood Heights, and the Norridge Citadel of the Salvation Army. She was an unsung ‘heroine’ of Cook County District 9, and served as the first president of the Norridge Senior Assistance Center, a position she held for 27 years. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to Divine Savior Catholic Church, Norridge, for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.
