Rose Josh

Rose Josh, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026. Rose was born on March 29, 1949, in Augustdorf, Germany, and was the cherished daughter of the late John and the late Sofija, with whom she shared a loving bond.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Daniel A. Josh Jr., whose love and companionship remained in her heart throughout her life. Loving mother of Gina (Charles) Martinez, Daniel A. Josh III, and the late Salvatore Rizzo. Cherished grandmother of Sofia Martinez. Dear sister of the late Walter Von Kroch.

Family was the center of Rose’s world, and she dedicated her life to those she loved most. She was an amazing cook who expressed her love through the meals she lovingly prepared for her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family, who were truly the pride and joy of her life.

Rose was a beautiful person inside and out and took great pride in her appearance. She possessed a warm heart, a caring spirit, and a quiet strength that touched the lives of all who knew her. Though she deeply missed her beloved husband Daniel, she carried his memory with her every day. Their love was enduring, and it brings comfort to know that they are now reunited once again.

Rose will be remembered for her devotion to family, her kindness, her grace, and the love she so generously shared. She leaves behind treasured memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Private burial will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
