Rose Carbonara

Rose Mary Carbonara, nee Pakovich, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021. Rose Mary was the beloved wife of the late Michael F.; loving mother of Deborah A. (John) Wrobel, Joanne M. (Thomas) Jones and the late Frank T. Carbonara; dearest daughter of the late Rose and Samuel Pakovich; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Sharon) and Matthew Wrobel, Michael, Daniel and Frank (Meghan) Jones; great grandmother of Jillian and Jordyn. The Carbonara family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Seasons Hospice in Naperville for the wonderful care they provided to Rose Mary. Rose Mary was a crossing guard for the city of Chicago for over 25 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Friday, January 8, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 10 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
