Rosalie Wolff

Rosalie Wolff, nee LaRosa, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2022 in her home of 70 years and surrounded by her beloved family: Jim, her husband of 62 years, her children Michael (Mary Kennedy) Wolff, Laura (Timothy) Scanlan, and Denise (Douglas) Oetinger, her grandchildren Michael (Rachel) Scanlan, Brian (Jenna Hokanson) Scanlan, Sam Wolff, Luke Wolff, Alexandra Oetinger, Dominic Oetinger, and her great-grandchildren Sophia, Maxwell, and Emma. She is the dear daughter of the late Sadie and Sam, the sister of the late Ralph and Dolores, the aunt of Debbie, Steve, and Donna, the treasured cousin of the Rinozzi, Spinella, and LaRosa families, and the best friend of Kay Culen, her partner-in-crime for 50 years. Rosalie dearly loved and was loved by her neighbors, and she always spoke fondly of her time working at the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans with her fellow paisans. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Visitation is Friday, February 25, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL. Her funeral service begins at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, followed by Mass at Our Lady of Victory in Chicago at 10 a.m. The interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
