Rosa Vitulli

Rosa Vitulli (nee Valenzano) age 93, at rest on January 8, 2025. Rosa was born on February 18, 1931 in Sannicandro di Bari, a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia in southern Italy and resided on the far northwest side of Chicago. Although she had a hard life, her life was a good life rich with such wonderful friends and family who loved her and will miss her very much.

Beloved mother of Rocco (Debbie) Vitulli, Giovanni Vitulli (Gary Chaboudy), Vingenzo (Amy) Vitulli and Maddalena (Kurt) Wessel. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Matthew Vitulli, Sydney and Freddy Wessel and Vingenzo W. Vitulli. Daughter of the late Giovanni and the late Maddalena Valenzano.  Dear sister of the late Donata (Frank) Laterza. Fond aunt of Laura Laterza and Franco (Nancy) Laterza.

Visitation for Rosa will take place Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland  Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Ill. Funeral will take place Monday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 am and will then proceed to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Church for 10:30 am Mass. Entombment will follow at the All Saints Cemetery at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoluem in Des Plaines.
