Ronald Lapinski

Ronald J. Lapinski, Woodstock Illinois, formerly of Chicago. Born January 31st, 1938, 77 years of age at rest June 6, 2015. Ron was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He worked for the City of Chicago for over 26 years, member of the Automobile Mechanic’s Union Local 701, member of the Moose Lodge of Woodstock #1329, and was also a volunteer for State Rep. Jack Franks. Ron was a beloved husband to the late Ellen Lapinski nee Feeley; loving father of Mary Gonzales, Sue Andrews, Veronica (Ralph Carlson) Lapinski; beloved son of the late Alexander and Cecelia Lapinski nee Socha; fond grandfather of John-Matt, Sam, Jack, Aaron, and Ellen; dear brother of Roger Lapinski, the late Richard Lapinski; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels Funeral Home at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home, proceeding to Calvary Cemetery in Evanston for burial.
