Roman A. Pawluk, age 33, passed away on January 25, 2019. Roman was the beloved son of Anna, nee Krainyk and Bohdan Pawluk; dearest grandson of Irene and the late Charles Krainyk, and the late Olga and John Pawluk; cherished brother of Markian (Emily) and Adrian Pawluk; loving uncle of Maksym and Christian; proud master of Tizzy. Roman was proudly employed as a sous-chef at Ballast Point Brewery. He was a graduate of Ridna Shkola Ukrainian School, Von Stuben High School and Northeastern University in Chicago, and he had been a scout with Plast for over 9 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation will be Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (Panachyda Service 6:00 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Joseph the betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Nicholas Mausoleum.
