Roland 'Rollie' P. Rossi, age 79; beloved husband of Jean (nee Fricano); loving father of Christopher (Suzanne) Rossi and Suzanne (John) Ferro; adoring grandfather of Danielle, Christin, Christopher, Johnny, Joey and Alexandra;dear brother of Eleanor (the late Edward) Hawley. Roland was a retired Lieutenant of the Des Plaines Fire Department and former co-owner of Rollies restaurant. Visitation Tuesday December 13, 2016 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Wednesday beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and will then proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
