It’s with a heavy heart and unimaginable sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Rocco. Sadly, Rocco fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury, which in turn took his life. Rocco left us far too soon, to think he was only 55 years old; Rocco was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him.Rocco brought joy, laughter and energy wherever he went. Rocco had a zest for life that was contagious, his presence filled every room with his warmth, kindness and positivity…Whether it was through his love of the great outdoors, fishing, boating and dirt biking, or just enjoying spending time with family and friends, Rocco lived for the adventure of simply spending time with those he loved and cared so deeply for.Rocco lived every moment to the fullest… Rocco was not only a brother but a confidant, a friend, and an inspiration to those of us lucky enough to share in his journey. Rocco taught us the value of embracing life’s beauty, cherishing our loved ones, and approaching each day with boundless enthusiasm, his smile would brighten your day, and he would melt your heart with those beautiful blue eyes… He is the beloved son of the late Charles and the late Virginia.
Rocco is survived by his sister Sherry Muskat, his Brother-in-law Brian Muskat, his brother Jimmy Zink and his Sister-in-law Karen Zink, who will carry his memory in their hearts… Rocco is the brother of the late Charlie ( Karen)
Rocco proceeds to the stairway of heaven following his Father Charles Zink, his Mother Virgina Zink and his Oldest Brother Charlie Zink, who we know will be waiting for him with open arms…
Although our time with Rocco was far too short, the love, happiness, and his quirky sense of humor that he shared with us - will remain eternally in our hearts forever.

Please join us in a celebration of Rocco’s life, which will be held on Saturday, November 23 rd from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. the Funeral Service will begin at 7:30 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706 While our hearts are broken, we find solace in knowing that Rocco’s light will continue to shine through the countless lives that Rocco has touched and by his gift of being an organ donor, he has given life too many others. May Rocco, Rest in Eternal Peace, you will be forever missed and always loved…
