Robert Nimietz

Robert "Bob" Nimietz age, 88, at rest on November 15, 2022. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Navy During the Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Dobrowolski). Loving father of Kevin (Kathleen), Janet (Rip) Heston, Mary (James) Hensley, Michael Nimietz and Karen (Howard) Moser. Cherished grandfather of Connor and Emily Hensley and Sean & Fiona Nimietz. Dear brother of the late James (Mary Ann) Nimietz and fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Robert was an Assistant Vice President of the Trust Department with the First National Bank of Chicago for over 30 years. Visitation will take place on Friday November 18, 2022 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Saturday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church for 10:00 Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
