Robert ‘Bob’ Mischke, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 8, 2026. Devoted husband of Sheila for 45 wonderful years. Loving father of Brian Mischke, Jennifer (John) Andreoni, Siobhan (Michal) Zdrojkowski, and Bridget (Michael) Drzik. Beloved son of the late Robert Sr. and the late Rosemarie Mischke. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Arthur, Addison, Gavin, Molly, and Ethan. Dear brother of Carol (Jim) Bowler, Christy Rehberger, and Mark (Loryn) Mischke. Fond uncle of many. Bob was a dedicated air traffic controller in Chicago for over 23 years, and a passionate fan of the Cubs and Bears. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chicago, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment private.
