Robert Izzo

In the comfort of his home in the early hours of December 18, Robert passed away peacefully with family at his side. Robert was the fourth child born to the late Carlene (Gundersen) and Armand Izzo in the Fall of 1961. He is survived by six siblings--Debra (Richard) Szeszko, Marion Wells, Armand (Aggie) Izzo, Charlie (the late Leslie) Izzo, Karen (Bob) Izzo-Kelch, and James (Ken) Izzo Satterfield. He was a loyal friend and cousin to John Suerth. He was the fun, crazy, enthusiastic uncle of Rich (Marvi) Szeszko & Laura (Lauren) Mariucci; Brian Wells, Denise Wells; AJ Izzo & Ashley (Baden) Mudge; Samantha Izzo, Charlie Izzo, Paul Izzo; Colleen Kelch and Kevin Kelch. Robert was the cherished nephew of the late Robert Izzo, Israel Izzo and Marion (Jack) Suerth. He shared much laughter and the good times in life with countless friends over the decades and with his companion Catherine. We thank his neighbor Lil for her devoted care and kindness. “Hey Mack,” we’re glad you are at Peace.
Visitation for Robert will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Interment will then follow to Queen of Heaven Cemetery at the Christ the King Mausoleum in Hillside, Ill.
