Robert ‘Bob’ Eklund, 88, passed away June 25, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Maryann. Loving father of Shari (Nick)Thanas, and Margaret ‘Cookie’ Fumagalli. Fond grandfather of Faye, Rachel, and Nikki Thanas, Val (Peter) Morales, Natalie (Joe) Scianna, and Joseph R. (Kristin) Fumagalli. Loving uncle and great grandfather to many. Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m., at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
