Rita Carmela Vittorino, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025. Born in Caccamo, Sicily to the late Domenico and Francesca (nee Maiorana) Geraci. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Antonino Vittorino. Loving mother of Rosalia (Salvatore) Cucinella, Francesca (Alex) Maurer.
Son Paul (Denise). Cherished grandmother of Salvatore (Ashley), Annalisa (Brandon), Anthony (Jennifer), Vince Jr, Alex JonAnthony, Brando, Nicole (Spouse), Anthony (Spouse), Jacklyn (Spouse), Joseph (Spouse), and great grandmother. Dear sister of the late Vincenzo (the late Nicasia), the late Giuseppe (the late Francesca), the late Giuseppina (the late Giorgio) Cecala, Frank (Mary), the late John (Rosetta), the late Tony Geraci. Fond aunt and friend to many. Rita was a proud member of the Beato Giovanni Liccio Society and a member of the Baker and Confectionery Union Industry. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6 th , from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home then proceed to St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chicago, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Clarification due to some confusion regarding the wake and funeral services: The wake, funeral, and church service, as well as the luncheon, are all public.
