Rita Lombardi, nee Atz, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2024, with her family by her side. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Jr.; loving mother of Paul A. (Grace) and Lisa A. Lombardi, Linda L. (Michael) Norton and Steve A. (Michele) Lombardi; dearest daughter of the late Elisabeth and Albert Atz; cherished grandmother of Amy (Jay) Warner, Amanda (Jace) Rhea, Paul (Krysten) Lombardi, Aileen (Kevin) Kloak, John Norton, Kristine Norton, Bobby DeLeonardis, Alexis Lombardi, Michael Norton, Nick DeLeonardis, Steven Lombardi, Joey Lombardi and Ellie DeLeonardis; great grandmother of Charlotte, Henry, Violet, Tessa, Paulie, Shannon and Joey; dear sister of the late MaryAnn (the late Tom) Reardon and a fond aunt of Mike, Tom and Pat.

Rita was a member of the St. Tarcissus Senior Bowling League.

Visitation Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Tarcissus Church (St. Elizabeth of theTrinity Parish) for Mass at 10:00 a.m., and the interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
