Rita Ann Gerich nee Schreiber, 94; Beloved wife of the late John; Cherished mother of Jim (the late Patricia) Gerich, Marian (Val) Zuniga, Joan (the late Ted) Huxhold and Carol (Terry) Coakley; Loving grandmother of Cindy, Beth, Chris, Lisa, the late Maria, Kevin, Rebecca and Mary and great-grandmother of 9; Dear sister of George, the late Joe and the late Bob Schreiber; Fond aunt to many. Rita was a proud, dedicated Chicago Cubs fan. Visitation Friday June 24th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Friends and family will meet Saturday at St. Alphonsus Church 1429 W. Wellington in Chicago for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
