Richard Sims

Richard "Rich" Sims, age 75, passed away on September 18, 2026. Rich was the loving husband of the late Maureen Sims; beloved son of the late Bernice and John Sims; dear uncle to Bob (Stacy) Skupien, Kim Dikeos, Kerry Kelso, and Mary McIntyre; Great Uncle to Sean, Kaitlyn, and Bridget Skupien; loving guiding figure for Ruby (Raul) Sandoval; cherished grandpa figure of Jordan, Kevin, Natalie, and Raul Sandoval; more than a neighbor to Maria and Ruben Sandoval; life long friend to Bill Kasane and Sue King- Huber and fond friend to many.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W Lawrence Ave from 9:30 a.m. until a service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. For more information call (708)456-8300.
