Richard Roessel

Richard Eugene Roessel, 80, passed away September 14, 2017. Richard was born in Chicago in 1937 to loving parents Carl Roessel and Marie Dubuque. They were members of St. Priscilla Catholic Church, where Richard attended school. He was employed for many years for Anderson Moving Company, Chicago and then since the late 1970's, worked out of Kankakee, Il. as a broker of supplemental Medicare and nursing home insurance. The family was delighted to witness evidences of the transforming power of God's all-sufficient grace in Richard’s life when he trusted in Jesus Christ as his Savior during his retirement years. Richard is survived by his niece, Christine Taussig Sasse and nephew Jerry Taussig, both from St. Louis; and his cousins Sr. Carmelyn Dubuque of Milwaukee, Wi., Renee Dubuque-Coyer of Lancaster, Tx; and Michael Dubuque of Fullerton, Ca. He is preceded in death by his brother Carl Jr, half- brother Harold Morris Taussig, his parents and multiple aunts and uncles. Visitation will be ?Wednesday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. noon? at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, Il. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
