Richard Losik

Richard F. Losik, age 82, retired Chicago Police Officer, United States Marine Corps Veteran, passed away on August 18, 2020. Rich was the loving father of Julie (Bob) DePalma, Rick and Tom (Stefanie) Losik; dearest son of the late Frances and Frank Losik; beloved grandfather of Michelle, Kyle, Ryan and Jake Losik and Holly DePalma; dear brother of Robert (Karen) Losik, Bernadette (the late Dave) Kestler and Barbara Roche, and he was a fond uncle of many. Rich was a C.P.D. officer with the 12th district and the mass transit unit for 35 years. Visitation Friday, August 21, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and we will then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
