Richard Loranz

Richard M. Loranz Sr. age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Beloved husband of Jacqueline L. (nee Vaessen). Loving father of Richard Jr. (Connie), Michael and Lynn (William) Strieby. Dear son of the late Harry and Sophie (nee Bodziach) Loranz. Cherished grandfather of Jason Strieby and Thomas Loranz. Dear brother of Daniel (Janice) Loranz and the late Lorraine (the late Norman "Bud") Reyes and uncle to many. A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Interment will follow at the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name my be directed to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org would be appreciated. Due to current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have the opportunity to enter. Please wear a face mask and use proper social distancing. Please refrain from bringing food/beverages as our coffee lounge is closed.
