Richard Jemc

Richard Joseph Jemc, 76, of Des Plaines, IL, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. Loving husband of Cheryl (nee Wisneski), beloved father of Jennifer (Andrew) Mierisch and Jaclyn Jemc (Jared Larson), mischievous grandfather of Austin and Blake Mierisch. Remaining to cherish Rich’s memory are brother Robert (Marianne) Jemc, sister-in-law Lauren (the late Kenneth) Haas, niece Amy (Robert) Vitellaro, nephew Bill Jemc, cousin Terry Ann Arriaga, and many good friends. Richard was born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine Jemc. Raised in Lincoln Park, he attended Lane Tech High School before beginning a career in tool and die manufacturing and raising his family in Park Ridge, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, March 7 ^TH from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M.  at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERALDIRECTORS) 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Friday 11:30 A.M. . Interment Private.
