Richard J. Hyland, retired Chicago Policed Department, age 88, at rest on August 4, 2023. Richard was a Veteran of the United States Army and Resided in Chicago. Beloved husband of Nina (nee Shereshovech). Loving father of Richard J. (Lisa) Hyland and Deanne (Dave) Bacchiere. Devoted grandfather of Sophie Hyland, Cassandra Hyland, Alexandra Bacchiere, Richard Hyland III and Natasha Bacchiere. Dear brother of Raymond Hyland and Ronald (Marcy) Hyland. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Illinois. 60706. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, Il.
