Richard Haljean

Richard P. "Rick" Haljean, retired C.P.D., United States Marine Corps Veteran, age 57, passed away on January 20, 2022. Rick is the loving father of Richard K., Isabella K. and Olivia V. Haljean; beloved son of Barbara, nee Daddono, and the late Kenneth Derengowski; dearest brother of Peter M. (Michelle) Haljean, Lynn H. (Dennis) Janikowski and Stepsister Lisa Derengowski; fond uncle of Theresa, Ryan, Elizabeth, Kari and Emily, and he was a nephew, cousin, godfather and a friend to all who knew him. Visitation Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be private.
