Richard Canova

It is with great sadness we announce the Passing of Richard Edward Canova at the St Francis Hospital on Sunday, January 3rd,2021. Richard was 79. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra Canova. Loving father of Richard Canova and Vincent Canova. He was the proud grandfather of Richard Canova, Christopher Canova, Patrick Canova, Curtis Canova, Cynthia Shalls, and Todd Canova and proud great-grandpa to Makayla, Richard, Kinsley, Caylee, Halie, Allyssa, Luke, Adalyn, Sadie and Aria. He was the son of the late Anthony and Pauline Canova. Richard alongside his beloved Sandra owned Riverside Top Scale for over 20 years. He loved taking cruises and traveling the world. He enjoyed going to Barrett Jackson, looking at old cars and playing slots at the casino. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones. Family and friends may pay their respects at Cumberland Funeral Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, from 3:00 pm – 7:00pm on Friday, January 15th, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at Cumberland Chapels on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will take place at All Saints Cemetery following the funeral service.
