Incredibly Generous, Intensely Loyal, Invincibly Proud, and Insanely Competitive! He will be missed by all. Raymond A. O’Brien, age 87, United States Army Veteran. Devoted husband of the late Mary Ellen nee O’Connor; loving father of Gerard P. (Donna) and Raymond G. (Geraldine); fond grandfather of Jeffrey(Kathryn), Kevin(Lauren), Patrick(Nicole), Sean, Brendan, Megan, MIchael(Judy) and Kevin: beloved son of the late Marie nee Donovan and the late William O’Brien; beloved grandson of the late Phillip(Gramps)O’Brien: son-in-law of the late Mae nee Tobin and the late John O’Connor; dear brother of Virginia (the late Al) Lipinski and the late Marie (the late John) Rizzo; brother-in-law of Joanne “Pat” (the late Anthony) Sciaccotta, the late Jack (Ellen) O’Connor; the late Regina O’Connor and the late Connie Musto. Visitation Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Friday, Family and Friends to meet at St. Celestine Church in Elmwood Park for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 25 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and use proper social distancing.
