Raymond Kurzer

December 31, 1969 — May 14, 2025

Raymond J. Kurzer, age 98, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025. Raymond was the longtime companion of Kay Latham; dearest son of the late Pearl (nee Zelinski) and the late Joseph Kurzer; loving brother of Marilyn (the late Raymond) Rogers and the late Lorraine (the late Russ) Hall, the late Jackie (the late Dick) Higgins, the late Lillian (the late Jack) Kelly, the late Joseph (the late Diane) Kurzer; close brother in law to the late Marion Kurzer and the late Bruce Schorsch, and he was a beloved uncle of many.

Raymond was an Arthur Murray Dancer for many years, and was a huge Cubs fan, "Let's get some Runs!!"

Visitation Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m. The interment with military honors will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
