Ramon “Cerillo” Ascencio, age 77. Beloved husband of Blanca Ascencio nee Cordero; loving father of Claudia Patricia (Gualtiero Carosi) Ascencio, Ramon F. (Emily) Ascencio, Blanca E. (Nick) Ascencio-McKinney, and Roberto (Elizabeth) Lopez; beloved son of the late Rafael and Josefina Ascencio nee Fuentes; fond grandfather of Nicholas Jameson McKinney Jr. and Ramon Hiroshi Ascencio; dear brother of Raul Ascencio Fuentes, Maria Guadalupe Ascencio Fuentes, Maria Candelaria Ascencio Fuentes, Josefina Ascencio Cardenas, Jose Refugio Ascencio Cardenas, Maria Rosario Ascencio Cardenas, Maria Cristina Ascencio Cardenas, Esperanza Ascencio Cardenas, Carlos Fernando Ascencio Cardenas, Alberto Ascencio Cardenas, and the late Rafael Ascencio Fuentes, Teresa Ascencio Fuentes, Juan Jose Ascencio Fuentes, Antonio Ascencio Fuentes, and Victor Julian Ascencio Fuentes; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday March 9, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 pm. At Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Juliana Church in Chicago for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment is private.

We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and use proper social distancing.
