Piotr Sikorski

Piotr Jacek Sikorski was a loving son, brother, and uncle. Peter was born on August 17th, 1988 and passed away on June 3rd of 2023. Although he had no children, he acted as a father figure to the younger members of our family. Peter taught us how to love our family, and how to take care of others around us. He was strong, considerate, and made us laugh endlessly. With Peter, there was a new lesson to be learned every day. Peter will be remembered as the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He made sure that those around him were good and happy.
It was an honor to be within his circle; his loyalty gave a warm sense of security. He valued family and good people above all. He enjoyed the outdoors and a minimalistic lifestyle. He was a man of quality and had not a materialistic bone in his body. He was the ultimate handyman. He was a master at billiards, barbecues, and all things food. His dance moves were unforgettable, whether you liked it or not. He was frugal, except when it came to new experiences. He was not scared of embarrassing himself as long as it made everyone laugh. He went out of his way to make others uncomfortable, as long as it meant creating lasting memories. He was the glue to our family. He was the guy that everyone looked up to, that everyone wanted to be. He was genuine in all his efforts, always acting with good intentions. He was efficient and to the point, careful not to waste a moment. Peter taught us so much during the time we spent together. He encouraged us to do our best, and to live meaningful and happy lives. He wanted us to be kind to each other, love one another, and spend quality time together. He wanted us to live our lives to the maximum potential. Peter gifted his family with an angel on their side. Although he will be missed, his words will echo within and guide us as we live through him.

June 17th: We will hold a wake for Peter from 12:30pm to 3:30pm with a 3:00 pm Memorial Service on Saturday, June 17th at Cumberland Chapels - 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706

June 19th: There will be a Mass for Peter at 11:00am on Monday, June 19th at Saint John Brebeuf Parish - 8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714

This will be followed by a Funeral beginning at 12:15pm at Ridgewood Memorial Park - 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016
