Peter Weis

Peter Weis, age 90, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 with his family by his side. Peter was the beloved husband of the late Theresia, nee Varga; loving father of Theresia "Terri" (Michael) Gentile, Dorothea "Dorothy" (Michael) Mascio and Anna (Peter) Wasyliw; dearest son of the late Dorothea and Michael Weis; cherished grandfather of Nicole (Ryan) Gentile-Holmbeck, Dana (Ryan) Burback, Christina Gentile, Kristen Mascio, Jennifer (Luke) Lasak, Joseph Mascio and Peter (Megan), Nicholas (Sabrina) and Michael Wasyliw; great grandfather of Lily, James, Grayson, Adeline, Wyatt, Liam, Scarlett and Peyton; dear brother of Helmut Weis and Elfrieda Pfhulmann, and he was a fond uncle of many.



Visitation Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Pascal Church (Our Lady of the Rosary Parish) in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
