Komon, 73; Loving father of Peter (Kellie Allgauer) Komon and Kristi Komon and grandfather of Katherine, Alexandra, Cole and Logan; Beloved friend of Georgi (Steve) Gold; Dear brother of Elaine (John) Kostopoulos, Penelope King (Ted Kalfas), Vera (George) Orfanos, the late Stephen Komon and the late Terry (Carol) Komon; Best friend of Dennis and Carol Markos and Gus Vastis; Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews; and companion to his best four-legged pal, Sweetie. Visitation Friday July 10th from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 2727 W. Winona Chicago. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
