Percy A. Lee, Jr., 85, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 7, 2026. Percy was the beloved husband of Patricia for 45 wonderful years; proud and loving father of Michelle (Andrew) and Phillip (Branwyn); dear son of the late Odell and Percy Sr.; cherished grandfather of Amelia, Aleks, Ana, Quinten, Jaxon and Marcus; dearest brother of Jennie, Jettie and the late Viteola, Kay, Zane, Walter, Harry and Fred, and he was a fond uncle of many.


Percy will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, his service to his country, and the many lives he touched throughout his 85 years. He took pride in being a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. His presence, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.


Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels - 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Friends and family will gather by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at the funeral home, for a funeral service beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
