Paul L. Schmelzer, Age 91. Beloved husband of the late Doris nee Guirsch. Loving father of Gregory (Molly), Thomas, Peter (Donna), Russell (Molly) and Edward (Mary Ann) Schmelzer. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Erin), Daniel, Anne, Lauryn, Geoffrey and Ella Schmelzer and Kate (Jared) Gutierrez. Great grandfather of Faith, Katie, Nahum and Leon. Fond uncle of many. Visitation Thursday July 10 from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Friday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home and then will proceed to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter Cemetery in Skokie.
