Patrick J. McCormack, 89, native of Moate, Co Westmeath Ireland; Korean War veteran; Retired CPD; devoted husband of 55 yrs to the late Ann (nee Barnicle); loving father of John (Debbie), Mary (Jim Targosz), Kate (retired CPD), Jim, Bob & Tricia (Bill Moriarty retired CPD); proud grandfather of Patrick (Maria José), Michael, Jack, Brendan & Patrick McCormack; Maureen (Ken) Raffenetti; Jimmy Targosz; Grace, Billy & Annie Moriarty; great grandfather of Fatima McCormack-Urbina; brother of the late Michael (Nora nee Barnicle) of Chicago, late Joseph, late Maureen (late Joe) Lowry, Kathleen (late Michael) Molloy, William, Br James (Christian Bros) & Margaret (Jack) Tobin all of Ireland; also survived by sisters in law Tess Floyd of Bolingbrook & Mary Monaghan, Kitty Divine & Phyllis Conroy of Ireland; fond uncle of many nieces & nephews here & abroad. Beloved son of the late Patrick & Elizabeth (Minnick) McCormack. Proud member of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association. The family is forever indebted to their extended family of loyal caregivers, Victor, Carmel, Helen & Julia, Annette & the Hines VA home based care team & finally to Rainbow Hospice, all helping to keep Pat at home providing the tender loving care he so rightly earned & deserved.
