Patrick Huszak

Patrick J. Huszak. Beloved son of the late Jean nee Pacana and John Huszak; dear brother of the late Mary J.; dearest friend of Robert Neri; caring friend of Ann Obert; fond Cousin and friend of many. Patrick was a kind, compassionate man. His love of flowers and gardening led to his taking a class in 1984 in floral design. There he met Robert Neri, the instructor. The two formed a close friendship and quickly Patrick became a member of the Neri family. Patrick began working for Robert in 1988 and together they conducted workshops, and created floral arrangements for clients throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Patrick also enjoyed traveling to Cancun each year with the Neri family and enjoyed dinners, the theater, outdoor concerts, festivals and celebrating special occasions with his close circle of friends. Always smiling and quick to laugh, Patrick endeared himself to everyone he met. Ten years ago, Patrick began working for Costco as a greeter. He was a people person and Costco customers and coworkers remember him fondly. His passing leaves a void in the lives and hearts of those who knew him and loved him. Visitation Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral services begin Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. John Brebeuf Church in Niles, IL for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
