Patrick Blackburn

Patrick G. Blackburn, Sr., 94, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023. Patrick was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine M., nee Bernacchi, for 65 wonderful years; loving father of Patrick G.,Jr. (Marcia) Blackburn, Joanne (Tom) Mulhearn and Donna Chirempes; dearest son of the late Elizabeth, nee Weiglein and Alfonso Blackburn; cherished grandfather of Kelly (Jasper) Weaver and great grandfather of Sofie; dear brother of Mike "Mickey" (the late Midge) and the late Alfonso (the late Lorraine) Blackburn; fond uncle of many. Pat was an avid Cubs fan with a heart of gold that everyone wanted to be around. Visitation Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W.
