Patricia Kowalski

Patricia A Kowalski (ne Wlosiak), of Schiller Park, IL, passed away on February 19, 2017 at the age of 74 after battling stomach cancer. Pat was born to parents William and Sophie Wlosiak on August 12, 1942 in Chicago, IL. Married to John P Kowalski on May 30, 1964. Pat is survived by her son, David J. Kowalski and wife Lisa; her son, Daniel W. Kowalski and wife Lara; Six grandchildren, Justin, Alex, Drew, Matthew, Jason and Nathan; sister-in-law Phyllis Novak and her husband Harold; Sister-in-law Ann Wlosiak; Aunt to special nieces Dianne Lampe and her husband Dave, Tammy Wlosiak and her husband Bill; and many other nieces and nephews. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny; her parents, William and Sophie Wlosiak; her brother, William Jr.; Father-in-law and mother-in-law Bruno and Clementine Kowalski; Sister-in-law Helen Turlo and her husband Steve. Grandma K will always be remembered for her eternal optimism, her smile and laughter, strength during hard times, amazing Christmas cookies and truly unique and fun gifts. She was the loving companion to 4-legged friends Scruffy, Mandy and the very special Cookie. Special thank you to life long best friends, who were always there in times of need, Jim and Rose Ridgeway. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am on February 25, 2017 at St. Beatrice Catholic Church (4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176), where Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life will be at 11 a.m. The family is grateful for condolences and prayers.
