Patricia Chosnyk

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia F. Chosnyk, who passed away peacefully at home, on October 30, 2025 at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Chosnyk; loving mother of Robert (Marsha) Chosnyk, the late Roger (Frances) Chosnyk, and Diane (Thomas) Retelny; cherished grandmother of Zachary (Ellen), Morgan (Banton), Ashley (Kevin), Jordan, Ryan, and Adam Chosnyk; fond great-grandmother of Josie, Millie, and Frankie Chosnyk; dear sister of Diane (the late Mike) Peszynski (née DeSando) and Dennis (Kathy) DeSando.

Patricia was loved by everyone who knew her and cherished deeply by her family and friends. Known for her kindness, warmth, and generosity, she brought light and love to all around her. She lived her life with compassion and a gentle spirit, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

Visitation Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until and 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
