Pasquale “Pat” Lo Presti, age 74, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Pat was the beloved husband of Pamela (Paso) for 57 wonderful years; devoted father of Lisa N., Brian J., and Peter M. Lo Presti; and cherished grandfather of Anthony Lo Presti, Brianna May, Giavanna Myers, Michael Lo Presti, and Gabriella and Sofia Marie Lo Presti.
Pat dedicated more than 30 years of loyal service to the City of Chicago, where he retired as a District Supervisor of Street Operations. Throughout his career, he was respected and admired for his strong work ethic, leadership, dependability, and unwavering commitment to serving his community.
Above all else, Pat was a devoted family man. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.
He was also known for his lifelong passions for classic cars and music. Whether admiring classic cars or talking shop with friends and family, he found immense joy in all things automotive. Music was equally dear to his heart, providing the soundtrack to many of life's special moments. He loved sharing his favorite songs, singing along, and bringing people together through the joy that music inspired.
To his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, Pat was truly a legend. A man whose character, loyalty, and larger than life presence, left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His stories, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be remembered for generations.
Pat leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.
