Nunzia Mammana Lupo

Nunzia Mammana Lupo (nee Culotta), age 89, of Niles, born January 27, 1935 in Pollina, Sicily.  At peace with Christ, February 14, 2024.  Nunzia was the beloved wife of the late Natale Mammana Lupo; loving Mother of Concetta (Giuseppe) Sparacino, Vincenzo (Claudia), Domenica (Santo) Carbone, Antonietta (John) Widera, Francesco (Zdenka), the late Massimo, Massimiliano; cherished Nonna to Anthony (Marissa), Francesco Sparacino, Michael (Jessica), Vincent (Sarma), Melissa Carbone, Laura (Russell) Badalamenti, Gabriella, Daniel and Nathan; Fond bisnonna to Noah, Mila, Rosie, Luca and Arija. Dear daughter of the late Francesco Paulo and Domenica (nee Cinquegrani) Culotta.  Dearest sister to the late Concetta, the late Rosario (the late Rosina), Antonia (the late Antonio), Angela (the late Calogero), Pina (Giuseppe), the late Maria (Paulo); Fond sister-in-law to Antonina and the late Salvatore Cinquegrani,  Vincenzo and Elisa Mammana Lupo; fond zia and friend to many.

Nunzia immigrated to the United States in August 1980.  Nunzia and her husband Natale worked very hard to give their children a better future in the United States. She was a loving and devoted mother who put her family before all else.  She loved to cook and bake for her family.  Her love will be sorely missed.  May she rest in peace.

Visitation  Monday February 19 ^th 2024 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.  Funeral services begin : Tuesday  9:00 A.M.  at the funeral home and will  proceed to our Lady of Ransom Church, Niles for  Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M.  Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum, Des Plaines, IL.
