Nino (Ubaldino) Diez Camacho, age 55, born in Cali, Colombia, and having grown up in Chicago from the age of seven (7) years old, passed away in his sleep this past Tuesday, January 7th, 2020, with his loving wife Martha by his side at their Houston home in Texas. Nino was very much loved by his United Airlines family. His career spanned nearly three decades as a Supervisor in Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Houston.His coworkers have posted hundreds of comments honoring Nino for his “I got your back” spirit stating, “They were honored and blessed to have worked with him, He was one in a million, He was one of the good guys, and His spirit and great smile will be in our hearts forever!” One of his dear friends stated, “May his strength, kindness and positive attitude be his legacy.”Nino was an ardent Chicago Black Hawks and Bears fan enthusiast. He requested to be buried with his favorite Black Hawks Official Jersey with his name on it because of his love for Chicago.Nino is survived by his wife Martha, his aunts and uncles, Cecilia and David Monroe Sr., Dario and Elizabeth Camacho, Leonor Camacho, Carlos and Marta Camacho, along with his immediate cousins, Gina Monroe and Andy Quiroz, David Jr. and Carolina Monroe, Joseph Monroe, Alex and Laura Camacho, Dario Camacho Jr., Mona Meléndez, Adriana and Ricardo Rosas, and Omar and Jessica Torres. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sofia and Ubaldino Diez Sr. Visitation and Viewing Services will be provided at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 S. Houston Avenue, Humble, TX 77396, this Friday, January 10th, 2020, from 5pm to 8pm. Visitation Services and viewing will also be provided in Chicago at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W.
