Nilo L. Donato age 89, at rest on February 24, 2022. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Basile) for 65 years of marriage. Loving father of Ralph Donato(Linda Fioccola) and Emily (Robert) Zanone. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Zanone, Elizabeth Zanone, Dominic Donato and Angela Donato. Dear brother of many siblings and late siblings in Italy and fond uncle, cousin and friends to many. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayer service at 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. The funeral will then proceed to Divine Savior Church in Norridge for 10:30 am. Mass. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.
