Nikos Karabatsos, age 85, born in Chandrinos Messinia Greece, passed away on June 8, 2022 with his family by his side. Nikos is the beloved husband of Eleni (nee Zervas) for 55 years. loving father of Georgia (Dimitrios) Kotsopulos and the late Joanna (Panos) Giannakopoulos and the late Kalliope (Angelo) Ladas. Loving papou of Stavroula, Niko, Ritsa and George. Fond brother of the late Stelios, Dimitrios and George. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and cousin and friend to many. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Holy Transfiguration Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery 2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171. Procession to the grave will follow after the church service.
