Nicoletta Pellerito

Nicoletta Pellerito (nee Sclafani) age 96, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024. Nicoletta was born in Cinisi, near the Metropolitan City of Palermo in Sicily, Italy and resided on the northwest side of Chicago.  Nicoletta was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Pellerito, for 69 wonderful years; loving mother of Vincenzo Pellerito, Susanna (Zenon) Golba and Stefano (Angela) Pellerito; cherished grandmother of Edward and Aleksander (Joanna) Golba and Pietro (Jade) and Nicolette Pellerito; Dearest great grandmother to Leonardo Pellerito and Olivia Golba. Fond sister of the late Benedetta, Giuseppina, Maria and Caterina. Fond aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.   Visitation for Nicoletta will take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Priscilla Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum within All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
