Nicolas Sacarelos, 82, passed away February 22, 2021. Beloved husband of Maria for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Luzia (the late Zane) Jakubow, Maristella Sacarelos, and Nicolas Sacarelos Jr. Beloved grandfather of Julia, and Franklin. Dear brother to Zaira, Cecelia, Theodoro, Theone, Stella, the late Maria, the late Panagiotes, and the late Irene. Fond uncle of Sofia, Dina, Dino, Steve, Vicky, Kostatino, Marta, Leonida, Manoli, Alex, the late Katarina, the late Stavros, and many more. Friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Forerunner Greek Orthodox Church, 8500 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, Niles for Funeral Service at 9:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
