Nicola Liberio, age 72, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020. Nicola was the beloved son of the late Rosaria and Michelangelo Liberio; dear brother of Grace (Joseph) Gomes and Anna Liberio; dear uncle of Joseph Michael (Cassie Hardiek) Gomes and Kelly Kellen. Visitation Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and we will then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
