Nicholas Guarino, born in Trivigno, Italy, At the age of 5, traveled to America with his parents and brother Rocky. He believed in the American dream and worked hard to achieve it for himself and his family. At age 9, he sold hot dogs on a street corner then started a paper route. After graduating from Lane Technical High School in Chicago, IL he attended trade school. A savvy businessman, he started his own sheet metal fabricating company in Chicago called G&M Metal Fabricators, which now is in Franklin Park, IL. He was an adventurous businessman, who loved commodities, racehorses and investing in companies. His favorite past time was going to look at land on Sundays. Afterward he would come home and plant trees with his John Deer tractor. He lived and loved to the fullest and will be missed dearly by his family. He was married to his wife Ann for 55 years, and they had two beautiful daughters. Upon his death, he joins his wife Ann, daughter Carol and brother Rocky. He is survived by his daughter Nickie; two son-in-laws Tony and Bill; five grandchildren Nicole (Mark), Joe, Nicholas, Michelle and Michael; one great-grandchild, Lucas; niece Jody; nephew Mark; great-niece Heather; and great-nephew Chad. Visitation Monday Jan. 14th 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at CUMBERLAND CHAPELS, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Family and friends are to meet Tuesday at All Saints Mausoleum, East Chapel, 700 N.
