Nellie Lillian John, age 95, passed away peacefully. She is preceded in her death by her mother Sonia John (nee Solomon), father Jesse John, son John R. Carter, and sisters Elsie J. Sargis and Josephine Coppola. She is survived by her sister Mary Procunier and granddaughter Christy Carter. Dear aunt to James, Michael, Christopher and Jonathan. Great aunt to Nicole Tyzenhaus (nee Coppola), James Dylan Coppola, Solomon Procunier, Noam Procunier, Madison Procunier and Jake Procunier. There will be a memorial gathering at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706 on Saturday July 29, 2023 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.
