Nancy Forbes

Nancy Lynn Forbes, nee Ferdinardo, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2021. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Terence P., Sr. C.P.D. Retired; loving mother of Terence P., Jr. C.P.D. (Amy) and the late Jason D. Forbes; dearest daughter of the late Shirley and Phillip Ferdinardo; cherished grandmother of T.J. and Cody Forbes who were the light of her life; dear sister of Pat (Ron) St. John, Carol (Nick) Casiello and and the late Darlene Collamore, Dennis Donovan and Steve Ferdinardo; fond aunt, cousin and friend of many. Nancy was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than attending T.J. and Cody's baseball, football and hockey games which sometimes included multiple events in a day, and she always rose to the occasion. She was a devoted friend to everyone in the neighborhood. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's research hospital or the Chicago Police Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m..
