Mitchell Flock

Mitchell Louis Flock, age 68, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. Loving son of the late Lucille (nee Kulesza) and the late John Flock; dear brother of Karen Flock and Sharon (Tom) Mason and the late Mark Flock; dear uncle of Danielle (Mike) Riddle, Alicia (Dan) Timmers, Thomas Mason, Ronald Delaquila, Nicole Flock, Morgan Mason and Amanda (Marko Momich) Mason. He was a great uncle to Logan and Lorelai.

Mitchell was a curious man who found joy in reading books. As a graduate of Ridgewood High School, he wrestled and qualified for the Illinois State Wrestling tournament. He maintained his residence in Norridge throughout his life. Mitchell had a great love for animals. At times very funny, Mitchell was also quite the storyteller and could always keep a conversation interesting. He will be remembered for his quiet nature.

A private burial will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2026, at Acacia Park Cemetery. For friends & family a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Mullen’s Norridge Bar & Grill from 12:00-3:00 for appetizers and memory sharing. Mitchell may not have traveled often, but he always enjoyed living through the stories of others and never missed a chance to say “Bring me back a T-Shirt” Guests are invited to wear a favorite vacation or travel T-shirt in his memory.
