Michelangelo Lorusso

Michelangelo "Mike" Lorusso, age 75, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2020. Mike was the beloved husband of Nicoletta, nee Lafronza, for 52 wonderful years; loving father of Giovanni "Johnny" (Rosa) Lorusso and Maria (George) Ballis; dearest son of the late Maria, nee Scavo, and the late Giovanni Lorusso; cherished grandfather of Nicole, Francesca and Michael Lorusso and Angelo Ballis; dear brother of Vito (Maria) and Francesco (Gina) Lorusso, Domenica (Salvatore) Lauria and the late Filipo, Pietro (Eusebia) and Teresa; fond uncle of many. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. The entombment will follow at the Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverages into the funeral home.
